Hey Mama!!

WOW MAMA!! its been a LONG time since we wrote in here! so much has happened in so less time!! I cant BELIEVE i found a baby turtle!!! If it weren't for me, he'd been dead by now!!! wow, i saved someones life.. its like everything i see dies.. LOL jk.. Do you know why we named him Papi??? 1: because Carolina is half Spanish, 2: because on a new movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua's there is a puppy named Papi and he is trying to save another puppy named Cloe from something evil, or something like that.. anyway, and 3: WE BOTH LOVE CHIHUAHUAS!!!!!! i know, difficult to spell, huh? not really... lol! I'm not really sure if I'm going to Molly's b-day party.. I'll explain it to you later.. well, i gtg! (got to go!) see u later!

hey mom! i love you! BTW my sucker fish name is Isabella not Bella!! LOL, i had a bunny named Bella and a hamster named Bella but my sucker fish name is Isabella.... Devin and Kristie came over yesterday for thanks giving, we had turkey,Shane's sweet potatos and mashed potatos, and green beans, and pumpkin pie, and apple pie, and etc. 3 days ago Brittany bought me and Dallas webkinz.. i got a yellow lab and Dallas (of course) got a... MONKEY!!! (he says he half monkey, so that's why he got one..) LOL...

First Post (for me anyways)

Can't say that I accomplished a whole lot today besides taking over this blog and revoking Mama's admin privileges (mildly funny at best). I invited the other kids to become authors on this here blog (note: hick accent) Somehow I got entirely distracted today and achieved absolutely no homework. I did post though. I'll try and keep up with this. No promises though. Apparently I can't even keep up with homework.

Squirty Gets a Clean Tub!

Britt, Kallee and Dallas cleaned Squirty's tub today. I had to catch Bella the sucker fish first tho. She's getting HUGE! And still not keeping the thing clean. Squirty is growing more every day I swear! She's come a looong way from the baby she was about 6 yrs ago crossing the road....

hi mama!!! i love you!! i'm sorry me and dallas drive u crazy,but we know u still love us.. and u somtimes drive us crazy too, but we still love you also..

anyway my day was fine... i tried to build a starwars spaceship but it kept breaking down every time i touchit... then i got REALLY mad.... then i made it for the last time, but i could not put a piece on it, so i asked brittany to help, she did but to fix it we had to break it apart, we broke it apart then we had to put it together, after like 4 hours, we FINALLY built the WHOLE thing!!! YES!!! so then i picked it up and guess what........... I DROPPED IT!! i was soooooo mad!!! and i still am!! oh well.. at least i had alittle fun in the first place!!

A Way to Keep Us All Together

Its been a long time since I've added any memories to this. Been to busy living them I guess, but now I've got an idea. With both Devin and Shane having their own life away from home, and Brittany right between 17 and 18....I'm learning that my kids will always be my kids but they have to fly away and live their own lives. I just love them so much and love hearing their voices....Even just a Hi Mama I love u! I'm fine!.....And at least right now Britts still home, and Devi I can call and bug him and even if he says I'm a pain, I know he's ok....I hear his grown up voice even as I can still see the little boy he was. But Shane, he's the one thats far away, and I am so proud that he took this chance and ran with it! To be able to work on beautiful yachts and meet people all over the world and see amazing places at this time in his life is one in a million! But I just wish I could hear his voice once a day..... even for a second. Sometimes I think about getting that 1 phone call all day long and it doesn't come. I know he can't always call. And thats what made me think of this place! All my kids can log on and just check in, maybe tell something of their day, or even just I love u! I'll take anything I can get these days from my older ones!!! I LOVE my babies so very much and I thank God every day for all of them. And I'm not forgetting Kallee and Dallas b/c they are right here in front of me making me laugh and driving me crazy at the same time just like u 3 did/do. So please do your mama a favor here, and just leave me a note every now and then....or as often as possible...like EVERY DAY plz.

Mead House: Summers(and winters) on the Beach

No matter how far away we go, this is the best place on Earth! Mead House on Little Hickory Island. Home. Where everything was OK no matter how it was out in the rest of the world. Where Camille learned to ride a bike on the beach and also had her first Big Crush! You girls watched A Walk to Remember about 37 times in 1 summer (but you didn't cry!) We saw dolphins and manta rays and manatees We fished and tanned and played

and loved every minute of it!

We stumbled upon it back several years ago and it soon became the family gathering place.

Sippy Cups and Sand Toys

We spent every sunset of every day right there on the beach. Playing and walking, volleyball, surfing, just being together.

Nanny and Grampy visited, cousins spent summers, friends congregated to grill on the beach. There were parties at night and the Turtle Patrol always knew when we were in town!
